Role Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Shopify App Developer with 4 years of hands-on experience in developing Shopify applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Shopify platform, a passion for coding, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain custom Shopify applications to meet business needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, project managers, and other developers, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of projects.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to app performance, functionality, and integrations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in Shopify development.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Ensure the security and integrity of all applications developed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 4 years of professional experience in Shopify app development.
- Strong proficiency in Shopify Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Solid understanding of web development principles and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
