Location: Mumbai, Delhi (Remote)
Job description
BookMyChef is seeking a proactive and experienced Catering Partner Manager to join our team. This role is essential for identifying, nurturing, and onboarding potential catering partners. The ideal candidate will also assist clients by understanding their needs and suggesting the best caterers according to their requirements and budget. Additionally, they will help caterers prepare appealing packages to offer on our platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner Identification: Identify and reach out to potential catering partners to expand our network of service providers.
Onboarding: Guide new catering partners through the onboarding process, ensuring they meet our quality standards and are set up for success on our platform.
Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with catering partners, providing ongoing support and nurturing partnerships.
Client Assistance: Engage with clients to understand their event needs, preferences, and budget, and recommend suitable catering options.
Package Development: Collaborate with catering partners to create attractive service packages that cater to various client needs and budgets.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all catering partners adhere to our quality and service standards, conducting regular reviews and feedback sessions.
Problem-Solving: Address any issues or challenges that arise with catering partners or clients, ensuring quick and effective resolution to maintain satisfaction.
Market Insights: Stay updated with industry trends and competitor offerings to provide insights and suggestions for enhancing our service offerings.
Reporting: Track partnership activities, client interactions, and performance metrics, providing regular reports to management.
Qualifications:
Experience: 2-3 years of experience in catering management, vendor management, or a related field.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships.
Sales Skills: Strong sales and negotiation skills to onboard and nurture catering partners.
Customer Focus: Strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service and the ability to empathize with clients’ needs.
Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
Problem-Solving: Effective problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle unexpected issues calmly and efficiently.
Tech Savvy: Comfortable using CRM software and other digital communication platforms.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the hospitality industry, particularly in catering or banquet management.
Previous experience with on-demand service platforms.
Certification in hospitality management or a related field.
