Position Overview
The Academic Coordinator will play a key leadership role in overseeing both administrative operations and academic programs at the Centre. This dual role requires a balance of strategic oversight, operational efficiency, and academic leadership to ensure the Centre’s success in delivering high-quality education and creative training.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Centre, ensuring seamless coordination between departments.
Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency and organizational growth.
Establish partnerships with industry, government, and academic institutions for collaborations, placement, internships and funding opportunities.
Supervise administrative staff and ensure compliance with institutional policies and regulatory requirements.
Academic Coordination:
Work closely with faculty members to implement postgraduate curricula that align with industry trends and technological advancements.
Coordinate the scheduling and execution of workshops, lectures, and training programs.
Support faculty recruitment, onboarding, and professional development initiatives.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Serve as a liaison between students, faculty, and administration to address concerns and enhance learning outcomes.
Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation within the Centre.
Actively support in ensuring representation of the Centre in academic and industry forums, building brand reputation and outreach.
Drive marketing and outreach initiatives to attract students and industry partners.
Qualifications & Experience
Degree or higher in Design, Technology, Business Administration, or a any related field.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in an academic or educational leadership role.
Proven experience in operational management, including institutional administration.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to foster a collaborative work culture and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
Preferred Skills
Experience working in a creative education setting or design-focused institution.
Familiarity with emerging technologies in design and creative arts.
Strong industry connections and ability to build strategic partnerships.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary of Rs. 35,000/- consolidated
