Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and execute test plans, scripts, and procedures to ensure the highest product quality.
  • Perform manual and automated testing on various software applications, including functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance tests.
  • Identify, document, and track defects and issues, working closely with developers and product teams to resolve them.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., developers, product managers, and designers) to understand requirements and ensure quality from concept to delivery.
  • Review software documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
  • Analyze test results and metrics to identify trends and areas of improvement in the software development process.
  • Ensure that all products meet company standards and customer expectations before release.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance or a related role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with QA methodologies, testing tools, and defect tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Selenium, TestRail).
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile development methodologies.
  • Experience with automated testing tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, or JavaScript).
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication skills to work effectively with developers, product teams, and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and experience with continuous testing environments.
  • Familiarity with performance/load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
  • Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI).
  • ISTQB or other relevant certifications are a plus.
