Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Automotive ASPICE Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in automotive software engineering, with a strong focus on Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) processes, configuration management, project management, system engineering, and software development. You will play a critical role in ensuring that our software development processes meet industry standards and deliver high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities :

ASPICE Process Implementation :

- Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of ASPICE processes within the organization.

- Ensure that all software development activities are aligned with ASPICE standards and best practices.

- Conduct regular assessments to ensure compliance with ASPICE requirements.

Configuration Management :

- Establish and maintain configuration management processes to track and control software versions, changes, and releases.

- Ensure that all configuration items are properly documented and managed throughout the project lifecycle.

- Collaborate with the development team to integrate configuration management into the development process.

Project Management :

- Manage software development projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

- Define project plans, milestones, and deliverables in accordance with ASPICE requirements.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.

- Monitor project progress and address any risks or issues that may arise.

System and Software Engineering :

- Participate in the system and software engineering activities, ensuring that all requirements are properly captured, analyzed, and implemented.

- Collaborate with system architects, software developers, and testers to ensure the successful integration of software components.

- Support the development of system and software design documentation, ensuring alignment with ASPICE standards.

Quality Assurance :

- Work closely with the quality assurance team to ensure that all software products meet the required quality standards.

- Participate in software reviews, audits, and assessments to identify areas for improvement.

Training and Mentorship :

- Provide training and mentorship to junior engineers on ASPICE processes and best practices.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in ASPICE and share knowledge with the team.

Qualifications :

Education :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.

Experience :

- 5-8 years of experience in automotive software engineering.

- Proven experience in implementing and managing ASPICE processes in a software development environment.

- Strong experience in configuration management and project management within the automotive industry.

- Hands-on experience in system and software engineering, with a focus on embedded systems.

Skills :

- In-depth knowledge of Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) standards and processes.

- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and methodologies.

- Proficiency in configuration management tools (e.g., Git, SVN).

- Excellent project management skills with experience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Certifications :

- ASPICE Assessor or similar certification is a plus.
