Job Summary :

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Network Engineer with expertise in managing enterprise networks, including WatchGuard firewalls, routers, and switches.

This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, high-performance network infrastructure across multiple locations.

- Design, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure using routers, switches, and firewalls.

- Install, configure, and manage WatchGuard Firebox appliances, including security policies, VPN tunnels, and web filtering.

- Monitor and optimize network performance, reliability, and scalability.

- Perform regular network maintenance, firmware updates, and patch management.

- Troubleshoot complex network issues involving routing, switching, and firewall rules.

- Configure and support VPNs (site-to-site and remote access).

- Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.

- Maintain detailed documentation for network topology, configurations, and procedures.

- Provide technical support for escalated networking issues.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

- 7+ years of experience in network engineering.

- Strong hands-on experience with WatchGuard firewalls.

- Proven experience configuring and troubleshooting routers and switches (Cisco, HP, Juniper, etc.

- Solid understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, OSPF, BGP, NAT, and ACLs.

- Experience with IPSec, SSL VPN, and remote access solutions.

- Working knowledge of network monitoring tools and logging.

Preferred Qualifications :

- WatchGuard Certified Network Security Professional (WCNSP) or other relevant certifications.

- CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent certifications.

- Experience with network automation or scripting (PowerShell, Python).

- Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure).

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working across teams
