SAP MM/WM Consultant

Location : Hyderabad / Pune (Hybrid Model)

Shift Timings : 3 PM - 12 AM IST

Experience : 6+ Years (Relevant)

About the Role :

Our SAP Service Line is actively seeking seasoned SAP MM/WM Professionals with extensive hands-on experience to join our team. In this hybrid role, based out of Hyderabad or Pune, you'll leverage your deep functional and technical expertise to analyze customer needs, develop project scope of work documents, and craft robust project plans. You'll be instrumental in configuring, implementing, and optimizing SAP Materials Management (MM) and Warehouse Management (WM) solutions across full project lifecycles.

Key Responsibilities :

SAP MM/WM Configuration & Implementation :

- Lead and execute configuration and implementation activities for SAP MM and SAP WM modules across full project lifecycles.

- Utilize in-depth knowledge of MM processes, including procurement, inventory management, master data, and vendor evaluation.

- Demonstrate proficiency in WM processes, covering inbound processing, outbound processing, internal warehouse movements, transfer postings, physical inventory, and bin management strategies.

Technical Integration & Enhancements :

- Possess proven experience with RF devices and their integration with SAP WM, optimizing warehouse operations.

- Work effectively with IDocs, interfaces, and barcode scanners to ensure seamless data flow and process automation.

- Apply a strong understanding of integration points with other SAP modules such as Sales & Distribution (SD), Production Planning (PP), Quality Management (QM), and Finance (FI).

Consulting & Project Planning :

- Analyze technical and business requirements, working closely with customers to translate them into effective SAP MM/WM solutions.

- Develop comprehensive project scope of work documents and detailed project plans.

- Contribute to all phases of project delivery, from blueprinting and design to testing, go-live, and post-implementation support.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Experience : Minimum of 6+ years of hands-on, relevant experience in SAP MM and SAP WM modules.

SAP MM Expertise: Strong functional and configuration knowledge in :

- Procurement (e.g., Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Release Strategies)

- Inventory Management (e.g., Goods Receipts, Goods Issues, Stock Transfers)

- Vendor Master Data and Vendor Evaluation

SAP WM Expertise: Proficiency in configuring and managing :

- Inbound and Outbound Processes

- Transfer Order and Transfer Requirement Management

- Physical Inventory Procedures

- Storage Unit Management (SUM) and Handling Unit Management (HUM) concepts (if applicable)

- Putaway and Picking Strategies, Bin Management

- Proven experience with RF devices and their integration with SAP WM is mandatory.

Technical & Integration :

- Experience working with IDocs and interfaces.

- Familiarity with barcode scanners.

- Good understanding of integration points with SAP SD, PP, QM, and FI modules.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Availability : Ability to join within Immediate to 30 Days notice period.

Work Model : Willingness to work in a hybrid model from Hyderabad or Pune.

Shift : Ability to work in the 3 PM - 12 AM IST shift.
