Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Metal Products/Scrap Metal Trader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in selling Metal products and scrap Metal, with a comprehensive understanding of the Metal industry. As a Trader, you will be responsible for establishing and managing relationships with clients in large and medium Metal companies/traders, negotiating contracts, and ensuring efficient transactions of Metal products.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and approach potential clients, build relationships, and maintain regular contact to understand their Metal needs and requirements.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients to maximize profitability while maintaining competitive market prices.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of Metal products and scrap Metal according to client specifications.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for business growth and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and analysis to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as logistics, finance, and operations to ensure smooth execution of sales transactions.


Requirements:

  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in the Metal industry.
  • Strong understanding of Metal products, scrap Metal, and the Metal market.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and suppliers.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on customer satisfaction and business growth.
  • Familiarity with market trends, pricing strategies, and competitor analysis.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field preferred.
