Role Description

This is a full-time/hybrid role for a Shopify Expert at Begum Pret in New Delhi. The Shopify Expert will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to optimizing and managing Shopify e-commerce websites, customizing themes, troubleshooting technical issues, and implementing innovative solutions.


Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Shopify platform, including theme customization, app integration, and store management
  • Experience in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for front-end development
  • Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and SEO best practices
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Previous experience in e-commerce and online retail is a plus
  • Certifications or courses in Shopify or related fields are beneficial


Key Responsibilities:


 1. E-commerce Strategy Development & Execution:

 • Lead the development and execution of e-commerce strategies to increase online sales, improve user experience, and enhance customer engagement.

 • Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities, including new market penetration, product expansion, and partnerships.

 • Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of Shopify stores, ensuring they are optimized for performance, speed, and conversions.

 2. Team Management & Leadership:

 • Manage and mentor a team of e-commerce professionals, including developers, designers, marketers, and customer support staff.

 • Set clear performance goals, provide regular feedback, and foster a collaborative team environment.

 • Ensure the team stays up-to-date with the latest e-commerce and Shopify trends and technologies.

 3. Shopify Platform Management:

 • Oversee the customization, integration, and optimization of Shopify stores, including theme selection, design customization, and app integration.

 • Ensure all Shopify stores are fully functional, secure, and compliant with industry standards and regulations.

 • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise, coordinating with developers and third-party service providers as needed.

 • Continuously improve the online shopping experience by implementing user-friendly features, responsive design, inventory management, and personalized content.
