Karur, India Centre for Responsible Business Full time

Key Responsibilities:

The Programme Officer based out of Karur will report to the Project Lead based in CRB, New Delhi office, and be responsible for the following:


  1. Undertake hotspot analysis and Life Cycle Assessment for manufacturers in the Indian apparel and textile sector
  2. Provide Technical training (environmental aspects) and handholding support to SMEs in the apparel and textile sector in Karur and adjoining areas
  3. Undertake research and help prepare reports on circular apparel and textiles trends and developments both in India and globally
  4. Help in coordination of local events and workshops as part of the project
  5. Preparation of relevant technical reports required in the project
  6. Support in organising relevant sessions at CRB's Annual Sustainability Summit - India and Sustainability Standards
  7. Support in the development of literature on circular apparel and textiles such as articles, blogs, briefing papers, social media posts etc.


Qualifications:

  • Technical experience in life cycle assessment/Environment /Emissions/ Energy audits for small business.


Experience:

  • 3-4 years of experience


Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and project management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.

Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
