With a focus on innovation, security, and compliance, FV Bank is Banking the Future by providing USD banking, digital asset custody services, money market accounts, Visa debit cards, and stablecoin deposits and conversions, all accessible via a single, unified platform.Role Description:As a Business Analyst at FV Bank, you will work closely with product, engineering, compliance, and business teams to gather and analyze requirements, manage the product backlog, and help prioritize features that align with FV Bank’s strategic objectives. You will support competitive analysis, marketing insights, AI-driven initiatives, and workflow designs to enhance our product offerings. The role requires someone detail-oriented, analytical, and adept at working in agile environments while being able to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:- Requirement Gathering & Analysis: Elicit, document, and validate business and technical requirements from stakeholders. - Data Dictionary & Documentation: Maintain a structured data dictionary and ensure consistent documentation for product workflows. - Product Backlog Management: Collaborate with Product Managers to define, refine, and prioritize the backlog. - Feature Prioritization: Work with stakeholders to assess business value and prioritize features accordingly. - Marketing & Competitive Analysis: Perform market research and competitor analysis to inform product strategy. - AI & Prompt Engineering: Support AI-driven initiatives by helping design and refine prompts and identifying automation opportunities. - User Stories & Agile Practices: Write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and support agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives). - Wireframing & POCs: Develop wireframes, mockups, and proof-of-concepts to validate ideas before implementation. - Product Workflow Design: Map end-to-end workflows across products and identify areas for optimization. - Demo Preparation & Presentation: Prepare and present product demos for stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment.Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in fintech, banking, or financial services. - Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). - Hands-on experience with user story writing, backlog management, and workflow mapping tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps). - Ability to conduct market research and competitive analysis. - Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and documentation. - Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to work across teams.Preferred Skills:- Exposure to AI tools and prompt engineering. - Experience in fintech or regulatory environments. - Knowledge of wireframing tools (Figma, Balsamiq, Lucidchart). - Familiarity with SQL or BI tools for data validation. - Ability to identify automation opportunities and support innovation.Working at FV Bank:- Opportunity to work in a fast-growing fintech venture. - High-visibility role working across multiple departments. - Exposure to cutting-edge technologies, including AI in banking workflows. - Collaborative and agile work environment with growth opportunities.
