Job Opening: Data Analyst / Data Science – Capital Markets (Python)Experience: 6 – 9 Years Location: Bangalore – Brookfield Work Mode: Hybrid (2–3 days/week from office) Shift Timing: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM IST (Flexibility required to overlap with EST based on project needs) Engagement: Contract to Hire (C2H) Duration: 6 Months Compensation: ₹1.6 LPM + Tax (Negotiable based on feedback & experience) Openings: 1Role OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Data Analyst / Data Science professional with strong Python skills and solid exposure to the Financial Domain / Capital Markets. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in data analysis along with a strong understanding of financial instruments and market operations.This role is well-suited for Business Analyst (BA) profiles who possess strong analytical capabilities and deep financial market knowledge.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform data analysis using Python to support business and regulatory use casesWork closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into:Business Requirement Documents (BRDs)Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs)Collaborate with application development teams to ensure accurate implementation of requirementsAnalyze financial market data related to equities, bonds, futures, and optionsUnderstand and support trade lifecycle processes and market surveillance activitiesAssist in identifying patterns, anomalies, and compliance-related insights in market dataSupport ongoing enhancements and production support activitiesRequired Skills & Experience6–9 years of experience in Data Analysis / Data Science or Business Analysis rolesStrong proficiency in Python for data analysisSolid understanding of Capital Markets & Financial Instruments, including:Stocks / EquitiesBondsFutures & OptionsTrade execution and settlement processesExperience working in financial services or investment banking environmentsExposure to market surveillance technologies and regulatory frameworks is a strong plusStrong documentation skills (BRDs, FRDs)Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills⭐ Good to HaveExperience working with large financial datasetsExposure to compliance, risk, or surveillance platformsPrior experience in hybrid or global delivery modelsHow to ApplyInterested candidates can apply directly via LinkedIn or share their updated resume with relevant experience highlighted in Python, Capital Markets, and Data Analysis.
