Description : Role : Database ArchitectJob Summary : We are seeking an experienced and strategic Database Architect with over 7 years of experience to join our reputed clients based in Pune. This senior role is pivotal in designing, implementing, and managing robust, scalable database solutions, with a mandatory focus on Data architecture, database design, and cloud-based data solutions in Azure. The ideal candidate will combine deep expertise in relational database programming (T-SQL) with modern NoSQL technologies to build the next generation of our data infrastructure.Primary Responsibility & Core Functions : Data Architecture and Design : - Lead the Data architecture planning and strategy, ensuring alignment with overall enterprise architecture and business goals.- Drive the database design process, including logical and physical data modeling, schema optimization, and creation of robust data structures for complex applications.- Define and govern data standards, naming conventions, and best practices for database development and deployment.Cloud Data Solutions : - Provide expert guidance and hands-on implementation of cloud-based data solutions, with mandatory, deep experience in Azure.- Utilize expertise in major cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) for architecting and deploying resilient data infrastructure components (e.g., managed databases, data warehouses, data lakes).- Design cloud data migration strategies, ensuring security, scalability, and cost-efficiency in the cloud environment.Database Programming and Optimization : - Demonstrate strong experience and expertise in T-SQL (Transact-SQL) for designing complex stored procedures, functions, optimizing queries, and ensuring high performance of relational systems.- Leverage hands-on experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cosmos DB, Cassandra) to design non-relational data stores suitable for modern application requirements.- Conduct advanced performance tuning, indexing strategies, and partitioning for both relational and non-relational databases.Required Skills & Qualifications : Experience : Over 7 years of professional experience, specifically in Data Architecture and Database Design.Cloud Focus : Mandatory expertise in cloud-based data solutions in Azure.Cloud Platforms : Strong experience utilizing major cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) for data infrastructure components.Database Expertise : Expert proficiency in T-SQL for relational database programming and optimization.NoSQL : Strong experience working with and architecting solutions utilizing NoSQL databases.Location & ExperienceLocation : PuneExperience : Over 7 Years (ref:hirist.tech)
