Job Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Power BI Developer with over 6 years of expertise in building compelling visualizations, reports, and dashboards. Based in Hyderabad, you will be crucial in transforming complex data into actionable insights, driving data-driven decision-making across the organization. We're looking for an immediate joiner or someone with a short notice period.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality visualizations, reports, and interactive dashboards using Microsoft Power BI.

- Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract and transform data from various sources, including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Snowflake.

- Apply knowledge of SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for reporting and ETL processes.

- Utilize expertise in data warehouse design principles, including dimensional modeling and data mining techniques.

- Implement and manage row-level security on data within Power BI to ensure data governance and compliance.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective Power BI solutions.

- Conduct thorough testing and validation of reports and dashboards to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

- Provide production support for existing Power BI solutions, troubleshooting and resolving issues efficiently.

- Optimize Power BI reports and underlying data models for performance and scalability.

- Document technical designs, data flows, and report specifications.

Required Skills :

- 6+ years of experience in building visualizations, reports, and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI.

- Strong proficiency in SQL queries.

- Knowledge of SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).

- Experience with PostgreSQL and Snowflake databases.

- Solid background in data warehouse design (e.g., dimensional modeling) and data mining.

- Capability to implement row-level security on data within Power BI.

- Experience in production support activities will be an added advantage.

Requirements :

- BS/MS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, along with relevant work experience.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Microsoft Power BI certification is a plus.

- Experience with Python and Tableau will be an added advantage.
