Job Title:Android Middleware Engineer – AutomotiveExperience:3 to 8 Years Location:Bangalore, ChennaiKey Responsibilities: Develop and enhance Android middleware components and services. Work onAOSP, HAL, JNI, and Android frameworklayers. Implement Android services, AIDL, and optimize system performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Platform, Hardware, UI) to integrate Android modules. Debug, analyze logs, and resolve issues using tools like GDB and logcat. Participate in feature definition, system integration, and validation testing.Required Skills & Expertise: Strong programming skills inJava, C, and C++. Hands-on experience withAndroid Open Source Project (AOSP)or Android IoT platforms. Proficiency inJNI, Android SDK, Camera2 / CameraX APIs, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS. Good knowledge ofOOPS concepts, threading, and performance tuning. Familiarity withYocto / Linux build systemsand debugging tools (GDB, CMake). Experience inAutomotive Infotainment,RTOS, orEmbedded Linuxenvironments. Version control usingGitand experience with CI/CD pipelines.
