Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled front-end developer or UX designer to join our team.
- You should have 1-3 years of experience working as a front-end developer or UX designer who understands front end code.
- Alternatively, you may have 3-5 years of experience focusing exclusively on providing accessibility specialist support to cross-functional digital teams.
- A solid understanding of web technologies such as HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) is essential.
- You should also have hands-on experience using assistive technology across platforms (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver).
- In-depth knowledge of WCAG 2.2, Section 508, ADA, and other relevant accessibility standards is necessary.
- The ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders is vital.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required.
- You should be able to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Previous experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment would be beneficial.
