Automobile Engineer

Job Summary:

Zekardo Technologies is a leader in vehicle health management, offering comprehensive vehicle inspection solutions for leasing, financing, and pre-purchase scenarios. We are looking for experienced Automobile Engineers with 3 to 5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. This role involves executing detailed inspections of vehicles, ensuring adherence to Zekardo's defined SOPs along with quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle diagnostics, inspections, and reporting, along with the ability to deliver high-quality insights to customers and stakeholders.

Location:

Multiple positions across Delhi / NCR, Mumbai and Bengaluru

Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections of cars under lease / financing plans and pre-delivery inspection of used cars, ensuring they meet the company's and the automotive industry's quality and safety standards.
• Perform comprehensive checks on various vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, electrical components, and more as per defined systems and processes.
• Identify and document any defects, damages, or discrepancies in the vehicles, providing accurate and detailed reports for further action in line with company processes and SOPs
• Collaborate with various stakeholders depending on the used case to address and resolve any issues found during inspections, maintaining effective communication throughout the process.
• Ensure that all inspections are completed within the designated timeframe and in adherence to company guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of inspection findings, reports, and relevant documentation.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, explaining inspection results, and offering technical advice as needed.
• Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, industry trends, and inspection protocols to continuously enhance your technical knowledge and skills.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Diploma / Bachelor's degree (B.E. / BTech / or equivalent 4-year course) in Automobile Engineering is a must. Other relevant certifications or additional training are a plus.
• 3-5 years of experience as an automobile engineer, with a background in conducting vehicle inspections a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of automotive systems, components, and technologies.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a field-based setting, managing multiple inspections per day.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with dealership staff and customers.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Physical fitness to perform inspections that may involve bending, lifting, and working in various weather conditions.
• Proficiency in using digital devices and software for reporting and documentation purposes.
