Job Title:Technical Trainer – Mechanical / Design / Industrial Engineering Location:Remote Job Type:Part-TimeJob Summary: We are seeking an experienced and passionateTechnical Trainerspecializing inMechanical, Design, and Industrial Engineering domainsto develop, deliver, and evaluate training programs for engineers, technicians, and production staff. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of hands-on technical expertise, CAD/design proficiency, and the ability to mentor and upskill teams in modern engineering practices and tools.Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and delivertechnical training programsin areas such as: Mechanical Design and Analysis CAD Software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, NX, etc.) Industrial Engineering & Process Optimization Manufacturing Processes and Quality Systems Product Design & Development Lifecycle Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma Concepts Conductclassroom, virtual, and on-the-job trainingsessions for engineers and technicians. Evaluate training effectiveness and update materials to align with industry trends and technological advancements. Collaborate withR&D, Production, and HR teamsto identify training needs and design customized learning paths. Maintain and updatetraining manuals, SOPs, and technical documentation . Mentor junior engineers and promotecontinuous learning and skill enhancementwithin the organization. Ensure compliance withsafety and quality standardsduring training. Support certification and competency evaluation programs.Education: B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech inMechanical / Industrial / Production / Design EngineeringExperience: Minimum10 years of total experience , including3–5 years in technical training, mentoring, or L&D roles . Prior experience inmanufacturing, design, or industrial process environmentsis essential.Technical Skills: Proficient in CAD tools such asSolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, NX, or AutoCAD . Knowledge ofGD&T, DFMEA, APQP, PPAP, and Lean methodologies . Familiarity withPLM systems, additive manufacturing, and digital manufacturing conceptsis preferred.Soft Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Passion for teaching, knowledge sharing, and workforce development.
