Duty and responsibilities:
As the Sitecore Lead, you will play a pivotal role in guiding the development and solutioning of a global Web Experience Platform using Sitecore. Your main responsibilities include:
  • Solutioning and Development: Lead the design, development, and implementation of web sites, mobile apps, and other digital solutions that align with regional needs while adhering to the global platform vision. Minimize customization and maximize flexibility through effective configuration.
  • Technical Leadership: Serve as a hands-on expert, ensuring components and integrations are loosely coupled for cost-effective reuse across global implementations. Maintain compliance with enterprise security guidelines and development standards.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee design reviews and code walkthroughs to ensure adherence to standards, security protocols, and best practices.
  • Technical Due Diligence: Evaluate software products and platforms, creating technical assessments based on cost, security, vendor fit, reliability, and scalability.
  • Incident Management: Perform root-cause analysis for application-related incidents and drive innovative solutions to enhance system performance and reliability.
  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate in gathering and solidifying requirements to determine the best technical solutions for business needs.
  • Engineering Improvements: Drive improvements in engineering practices to optimize both cost and quality.
  • Global Awareness: Maintain cultural awareness and act with global fluency. Embrace a test-and-learn mindset with calculated risk-taking.
  • Change Management: Act as a transformative change agent, balancing between strategic initiatives and day-to-day operations. Deliver a mix of operational excellence, strategic vision, and innovation.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Experience:8+ years in IT, focusing on scalable consumer-facing digital solutions (websites, web applications, mobile sites) using .NET/C#/MVC with emphasis on performance, security, and scalability.3+ years of hands-on experience with Sitecore 10.x, including development and implementation.Strong front-end development skills with JavaScript (jQuery, Node, Angular, or React), CSS, and HTML.Experience with Sitecore xDB and personalization features, Helix, and Unicorn Sync is advantageous.Experience with upgrading consumer-facing websites from Sitecore 10.x is a plus.Certifications: Sitecore Professional Developer Certification is a plus.Search Technologies: Experience with search technologies like SOLR (Cloud or On-Prem) or Lucene.Database Management: Proficient in designing and optimizing relational databases and stored procedures, with experience in SQL Server.Integrations: Proven experience integrating with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.Responsive Design: Familiarity with HTML5, Bootstrap, and Foundation for mobile and responsive design is beneficial.Regulations: Understanding of data privacy and protection regulations such as GDPR is desirable.Agile and DevOps: Experience with agile methodologies and DevOps practices, including CI/CD using TFS/Azure DevOps.Cloud Ecosystems: Experience with Cloud environments like Azure, Sitecore Cloud, or AWS is a plus.
