Job Description :

  • Design and develop MongoDB databases collections and schemas to effectively store and manage party data for banking clients
  • Implement efficient data ingestion processing and retrieval workflows using MongoDB features and tools adhering to banking industry standards
  • Optimize MongoDB database performance including indexing sharding and replication strategies to meet the high availability and low latency requirements of the banking sector
  • Ensure data security and compliance implementing access controls encryption and backup recovery processes in accordance with banking regulations
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams including compliance and risk management to understand data requirements and translate them into MongoDB solutions
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of our party data infrastructure proposing and implementing enhancements to meet the evolving needs of the banking industry
  • Provide technical support troubleshooting and maintenance for MongoDB powered party data systems ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to banking operations
  • Stay up to date with the latest MongoDB features best practices and industry trends particularly in the banking and financial services sectors
  • Work effectively within a large complex banking organization adhering to established controls policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to data management and security in the banking industry


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field
  • 5 years of experience as a MongoDB Developer or Database Administrator with a focus on the banking or financial services industry
  • Proven expertise in MongoDB database design querying and administration for mission critical banking applications
  • Hands on experience with MongoDB features such as aggregation sharding and replication in a high performance high availability environment
  • Thorough understanding of data modeling indexing and performance tuning techniques for banking specific workloads
  • Strong knowledge of data security and compliance requirements in the banking industry including experience working with regulators
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams including compliance and risk management and adapt to organizational processes and controls
  • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills with a focus on delivering reliable and secure data solutions for the banking sector
  • Experience in the party data domain particularly in the banking industry is highly desirable.
