Valvoline has a rewarding opportunity as a SAP BTP Lead Developer reporting directly to the Manager, IT Application Development & Architecture General. This role offers a remote opportunity, shift from 12 PM to 9 PM IST. The base location for this position is Gurgaon, India.”


A SAP Cloud Platform Lead Developer on the Valvoline IT Application Development where team delivers new and enhanced features for the Development & Architecture General to continuously improve the experience of Valvoline’s customers and make Valvoline easy to do business with.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities


  • Conduct analysis and programming services to modify existing and develop new applications
  • Plan and conduct workshops for integration architecture and identification of interface needs
  • Plan, manage, implement, support and/or monitor integrations, interfaces and middleware for on-premises, cloud or hybrid scenarios
  • Identify test data for unit testing, integration testing and user acceptance, working with functional and QA consultants for validation of test results.
  • Design, build and test integrations and interfaces based on the latest SAP integration technologies.
  • Provide end user and production support.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation
  • Follow Corporate and IT policies and procedures
  • Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time in its sole discretion.

Education


B.S. Degree in Information Technology or related discipline


Work Experience


  • Strong UI5 development skills with JSON and JS skills
  • Experience in working on SAP BTP Platform including MTA and deployments.
  • Experience in CI/CD tools like Jenkins for deployments.
  • Experience in using APIs for calling in functionality from other sources.
  • Expertise in SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) development
  • Understanding of Web services such as REST and OData V2&V4
  • Ability to work with SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry environment or short CF), Node.js (CAP) and SAP Fiori Elements
  • Experience in OData services
  • Experience with SAP Backend for coding towards SAP functionality
  • Experience with Java
  • Experience in developing Fiori Applications
  • HANA Modeling experience and experience to ETL mechanism
  • Calculation views experience is a plus
  • SDI Experience is a plus
  • SAP NW Portal would be desirable


Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies


  • Basic knowledge of SQL, Oracle dB and MS SQL Server dB.
  • HTML 5, JPA 2.x, CSS3, Java Server Faces, javascript, Hibernate 3.5+, eclipse, ANT, PrimeFaces 3.5+, jQuery, jUnit, Eclipse IDE, Weblogic 12c experience, EJB/MDB, JMS, Mockito
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology.
  • Ability to Lead a team of developers and work with SI business partners in different time zones.
  • Problem-solving, Debugging & organizational skills
