About the Role : We are seeking a talented and detail-orientedArchitectural Product Designerto join our team at Good Windows. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing complex architectural structures, with a focus on skylights, facades, and custom products. You will work closely with our production team to bring innovative designs to life and contribute to cutting-edge projects in the window and skylight manufacturing industry. Key Responsibilities :Develop detailed and precise designs for skylights and custom architectural structures using specialized software. Create accurate 2D and 3D drawings and models inAutoCAD, Rhino, Google SketchUp, SolidWorks , and other relevant design tools. Collaborate with production teams to translate designs into manufacturable products. Prepare cost estimates, material calculations, and quotes based on initial design drafts. Revise and update designs based on client or production feedback. Ensure that designs comply with industry standards and client specifications. Stay current with trends and technological advancements in skylight and facade design, incorporating innovative solutions into your work. Qualifications :Adegree in Architecture ,Mechanical Engineering ,Product Design , or a related field is preferred. Proven experience inarchitectural design , particularly with skylights, facades, or other complex building structures. Proficiency inAutoCAD ,Google SketchUp ,Rhino ,SolidWorks , and other industry-specific design tools. Strong understanding ofmanufacturing processes , material specifications, and fabrication techniques. Excellent attention to detail and a creative approach to problem-solving. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality. Skills :Strong technical skills in drafting and 3D modeling software. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with both clients and production teams. Organizational skills to manage multiple deadlines and priorities. Creative thinking and innovation in design.
