Forward-Deployed Analyst – Portfolio Intelligence

Arcana builds institutional-grade analytics for leading hedge funds and asset managers. We’re hiring exceptional analysts to partner with portfolio managers, risk managers, analysts, and CIOs, and collaborate with our product, engineering, and data science teams.

What You’ll Do

• Work directly with portfolio managers, risk managers, analysts, and CIO's from the world's top hedge funds and asset managers
• Analyze portfolios to uncover alpha, beta, and idiosyncratic drivers.
• Design and validate analytics that solve real institutional workflows.
• Turn complex financial data into clear, actionable insights that shape product and investment decisions.

What We Expect

• Bachelor’s or Master’s from a top-tier institution (IIT, IIM) with a minimum GPA of 8.7/10 (or equivalent).
• 2–4 years in front-office finance (IB, hedge fund, asset management)
• Top 5% performer - academically in your graduating class and/or professionally among peers.
• Strong math and stats background
• Deep investment fluency; elite analytical, modeling, and communication abilities.
• Precision, ownership, and comfort operating with senior stakeholders.
• CFA, FRM, MBA, or coding skills (Python/R) are strong pluses.
