Job Summary :


We are looking for a skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our infrastructure and DevOps team. As an SRE, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our production systems and services. Youll work closely with developers, QA, and operations to implement automation, monitoring, and incident response strategies for highly available and fault-tolerant systems.

Key Responsibilities :


- Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure and tools to ensure uptime, performance, and system reliability.

- Monitor system availability and performance using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, New Relic, or similar.

- Automate deployment, configuration, and recovery processes using CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).

- Identify and eliminate single points of failure in the infrastructure through automation and architecture improvements.

- Participate in on-call rotations and handle incident response, root cause analysis, and preventive action plans.

- Collaborate with development teams to define service level objectives (SLOs), service level indicators (SLIs), and error budgets.

- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) using Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

- Implement security best practices and compliance checks across systems.

- Continuously improve system observability, logging, alerting, and incident management workflows.

- Conduct capacity planning and performance tuning for mission-critical services.

Requirements :


- 3 to 6 years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role.

- Strong experience with Linux systems, shell scripting, and system administration.

- Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (Python, Go, Bash, etc.).

- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.

- Familiarity with monitoring, alerting, and log aggregation tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

- Solid understanding of networking, load balancing, DNS, firewalls, and security protocols.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, and automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, etc.).

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a production environment.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications :


- Certification in AWS, GCP, or Kubernetes (CKA, CKAD) is a plus.

- Experience in incident management, chaos engineering, or site performance optimization.

- Prior experience working in a SaaS or high-availability production environment.
