Golang Backend Developer

We are looking for talented Backend Golang Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidates will have expertise in Golang, API development, cloud technologies (preferably AWS), and experience working in high-scale production environments.

You will be responsible for building and maintaining complex, high-performance backend systems, collaborating closely with developers, QE, and other stakeholders to meet complex business needs.

Key Responsibilities :

Backend Development :

- Develop, optimize, and maintain APIs written in Golang that integrate with various services and platforms.

- Work on cloud-based infrastructure, preferably AWS, to ensure scalable and resilient backend systems.

- Collaborate in designing complex business logic and requirements, ensuring performance and scalability in high-scale production applications.

Systems Integration :

- Understand and integrate with existing systems, including SQL and Postgres databases, and the React based front-end.

- Communicate effectively with internal services and ensure smooth interaction between the backend, cloud infrastructure, and APIs.

Collaboration and SDLC Activities :

- Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and other software development lifecycle (SDLC) activities.

- Work closely with the client's developers and QE teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.

- Write and maintain unit tests to ensure backend code reliability and performance.

Problem-Solving & Complexity :

- Tackle complex business logic and system integration challenges, often requiring deep understanding and discussion before implementation.

- Provide creative and efficient solutions to issues that arise during the development lifecycle.

Must-Have Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience with Golang in a production environment.

- Proven experience in developing and maintaining APIs and integrations.

- Expertise in cloud technologies, preferably AWS, including cloud-native applications and microservices architecture.

- Problem-solving skills with the ability to understand and break down complex business requirements.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-Have :

- Experience working in the e-commerce domain or understanding e-commerce systems.

- Familiarity with Java and the ability to integrate or migrate between languages if necessary.

- Knowledge of SQL and Postgres for managing backend databases.

Additional Qualifications :

- Experience working on high-scale production applications with a focus on reliability, performance, and scalability.

- Ability to quickly understand complex business logic, typically taking about a week to fully grasp requirements before implementation.

- Familiarity with SDLC processes such as code reviews, unit tests, and design discussions.
