Senior JDE Analyst W/ IBM iSeries

What You'll Do:As our in-house JDE expert, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including: JDE Support and Troubleshooting:Serve as the primary point of contact for JDE user issues. You'll diagnose and troubleshoot problems related to POs, job errors, job scheduler issues, work center messages, and user access. You will work closely with EDI team to understand the new onboarding requirements and help build connections. System Maintenance and Administration:Knowledgeable for routine system tasks such as monitoring JDE jobs on our IBM iSeries (AS400), CNC weekend maintenance, and server-side tasks like bouncing web servers, evaluating "Zombies," and managing load balancing. Also manage refreshing TEST and DEV environments and monitoring OMW and project promotions. 3rd Party Management:Oversee and manage the work of third-party developers and support personnel for development & system maintenance and administration tasks including CNC maintenance, ensuring their tasks are completed efficiently and to our standards. You'll be the liaison between our internal teams and external partners. Development and Reporting:Create custom reports for users, understand their needs, and provide solutions using tools likeBusiness ObjectsandQlikview . You'll also debug JDE programs and manage changes to job versions. Security and Compliance:Manage JDE user roles and security, including Business Unit security. You'll respond to auditing requests and help users understand how to perform routine tasks within JDE, such as executing jobs. Upgrade Planning and Execution:Play a crucial role in planning and implementing the upgrade of ourJDE 8.12environment to the latest version. Your in-depth knowledge will be essential in navigating this complex project.Who You Are:You have a solid technical background with extensive experience in JDE EnterpriseOne 8.12 and Tools 8.98 , with the ability to get up to speed quickly on our current system serves as Subject Matter Expert You are a professional with strong interpersonal skills and understand that our users are internal customers. You have a customer-first mindset and provide excellent support. You have a strong functional background and can listen to user requests, understand their underlying needs, and create effective solutions. You are experienced with IBM iSeries (AS400) and are comfortable with JDE job monitoring and potential RPG / CL programming or related tasks. You have experience with warehouse management and EDI for order processing and purchasing. IT would be a plus if you have working knowledge of JIRA for tracking requests and incident management, WebMethods for EDI integration and REST API for integration
