Important responsibilities in this role will include:
- Managing strategic accounts for LoB and work with clients closely to understand their specific business needs and objectives.
- Maintaining and driving overall profitability for business by achieving revenue/topline as well as bottom-line targets.
- Providing strategic leadership and direction to KYC practice; lead and mentor a team of analysts
- Responsible for ensuring Quality Assurance reviews of all the AML/KYC processes being carried out in India such as Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), Periodic Reviews, Negative News Screening and Sanctions Screening. Ensure client documents meet applicable KYC/EDD requirements; appropriate KYC/EDD processes have been adhered to.
- Performing EDD Screening on new and existing clients by using various tools & applications
- Oversee and lead client engagement - reach out to new clients, take lead in pitching new solutions to showcase value added analysis/new solutions to clients
- Perform KYC on Periodic basis and Regular basis for different clients like Sole trader, Corporate, Trusts.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- At least 12+ years of experience in KYC EDD processes at financial services firms; Knowledge and understanding of AML/KYC laws and regulations in Luxembourg, Ireland, and the UK preferred.
- Minimum 5-7 years of Team management and quality check experience. Strong knowledge of sanction lists, adverse media screening
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing and developing high-performing teams
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks as needs evolve and effectively manage expectations of both internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Project management and leadership qualities
- Proficient in MS Office suite such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel
