Job Description :

- Experience in FPGA Design.

- Strong exposure in FPGA, RFNoC, USRP, RTL, VHDL, Verilog, Vivado, Xilinx, ZYNQ, kin TEX, UHD.

- Working knowledge of the following engineering tools; DOORS, Synplify,QuestaSim, Altera Quartus II, Xilinx ISE/EDK/Vivado, CVS, Git,

- Matlab/Simlink

- Experience of ARM+FPGA Systems On Chip

- Engineering development in the V model environment

- An appreciation of TRL's other engineering disciplines; Software, DSP, Digital and Analogue Electronics, mechanical design, DFx, RF theory Scripting; tcl/tk, perl

- System engineering, requirements capture, requirements analysis, requirements decomposition and requirements management

- Software programming, C, C++

- Proficient in the use of standard MS Office tools, Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio

- At least 5 years post graduate experience, although reviewable if TRL considers the candidate to be of a sufficiently high calibre

- At least 3 years experience in VHDL for FPGA development, preferably on large Altera or Xilinx designs

- Experienced in achieving timing closure on FPGAs

- Significant experience in FPGA test & verification, BFMs, self-checking test benches etc.

- Interfacing to software and high speed digital hardware

- Technical design and test documentation
