About the Role (Data Scientist):

We are looking for a Data Scientist with 4+ years and should have experience in AI/ML, forecasting, segmentation, classification, prediction, and cloud platforms (GCP preferred). Experience in MLOps is required, and familiarity with LLMs is a good advantage. If you are passionate about this role, this opportunity is for you.

Must have  

•  CLASSIC DATA SCIENCE ALGORITHMS - Intermediate knowledge of common DS algorithms (unsupervised approaches like clustering, regression methods, optimization) - understanding of where these different approaches are applicable and how they might fit together
• Ability to effectively frame and propose a solution to a problem end to end given a use case or simple business problem statement
• Understanding of basic linear algebra/matrix theory
• Understanding of basic code performance considerations (e.g., understanding big-O)
• Understanding of basic probability & statistics theory

Nice to have  

• Example projects to demonstrate all the above
• Understanding of advanced mathematics (DEs/PDEs, Graph Theory, Optimization Theory, etc.)
• Experience reviewing and applying academic literature to real world problems
• Experience with advanced DS algorithms (e.g., LLM fine-tuning, Graph clustering, custom neural network regularization, etc.)

Technical

• Must have  
• Intermediate proficiency using python 3 (HANDS-ON CODING TEST)
• Intermediate proficiency of at least one graphing & visualization library (e.g., matplotlib, seaborn, plotly, etc.)
• Intermediate knowledge of common DS stack packages (scipy, sklearn, tensorflow, pytorch, numpy, pandas, etc.)
• CLASSIC DATA SCIENCE ALGORITHMS
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL
• Experience with reading (writing) data from (to) a cloud service (e.g., Google Cloud Storage
• Experience with deploying ML solutions at scale (e.g., Kubeflow, VertexAI, Airflow, PySpark, etc.)GCP or any cloud is must to have
• GOOGLE CLOUD EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum Educational Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Data or Information Science, or related quantitative analytic field AND 4 years of experience in analytics AND 2 years of programming experience (Python, Java, Scala, Rust, etc.)
  • OR
  • Master's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Data or Information Science, or related quantitative analytic field AND 2 years of experience in analytics AND 1 year of programming experience (Python, Java, Scala, Rust, etc.)
  • OR
  • Ph.D. in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Data or Information Science, or related quantitative analytic field AND 1 year of experience in analytics
  • ALSO
  • Knowledge of SQL and various statistical modeling or machine learning techniques Conceptual
