Role Purpose and Impact:

The English Teacher for grades 5-7 will play a crucial role in shaping students' understanding and appreciation of the English language. This position requires a passionate educator who can develop and deliver high-quality lessons that promote student engagement and academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement creative and effective lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
• Utilize various assessment tools to monitor student progress and adapt instruction accordingly.
• Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and cooperative learning.
• Incorporate educational technology to enhance the learning experience and engage students.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and classroom activities.
• Provide mentorship and support to students, encouraging their growth in English Language Arts (ELA) skills.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the overall educational experience and implement school initiatives.

Team Collaboration:

As a member of our teaching staff, you will work closely with other teachers and administrative staff to create a cohesive learning environment that supports educational excellence. Your contributions will be valued in collaborative meetings and professional development sessions.

Requirements

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field. A B.Ed. degree or equivalent qualification is mandatory.

Experience Requirements:

5-10 years of teaching experience, specifically in English at the upper primary level.
