Job Summary

We are seeking a Career Development Specialist to develop and nurture relationships with corporate houses, recruitment professionals, and industry experts to identify talent needs and create placement opportunities for students. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to analyze data and make strategic recommendations.

Main Responsibilities:

• Talent Needs Analysis: Understand the talent requirements of corporate houses and industry professionals in national and international markets, and identify opportunities for collaboration and placement.
• Internship and Placement Coordination: Facilitate internships and job placements for students, including resume writing, preparation for selection processes, and post-placement support.
• Career Guidance and Support: Provide guidance and support to students in their career development, including exploring career options, advising on industry trends, and helping them set goals and action plans.
• Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records and databases of internship and job opportunities, placements, and employer contacts, and generate reports to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
• Alumni Engagement: Cultivate relationships with alumni to leverage their professional networks and support job placement efforts, and develop strategies to engage alumni in mentorship programs and networking initiatives.
• Compliance and Confidentiality: Ensure internal compliance with legal and accreditation requirements, and maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive information during the recruitment and placement process.
• Industry Trends and Best Practices: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market dynamics, and best practices in career services and placement.
