DevOps Specialist

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Release Management and DevOps initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Change Request (CR) creation, cross-team coordination, and automation-driven delivery pipelines, along with excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Release Management

• Plan, schedule, and manage software releases across multiple environments.
• Ensure timely and quality delivery of releases with minimal disruption.
• Maintain release calendars and coordinate with stakeholders for alignment.

Change Request (CR) Management

• Create, track, and manage CRs through their lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with internal governance and external audit requirements.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to assess impact and risk.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Act as a liaison between development, QA, infrastructure, and business teams.
• Facilitate release readiness meetings and post-release reviews.
• Resolve conflicts and dependencies across teams to ensure smooth delivery.

DevOps & Automation

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, etc.
• Monitor and optimize deployment processes for scalability and reliability.
• Drive adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Communication & Collaboration

• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Effectively convey technical and non-technical information to stakeholders at all levels.
• Foster a collaborative environment across geographically distributed teams.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain detailed release notes, CR logs, and deployment documentation.
• Provide regular status updates and metrics to leadership.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Release Management and DevOps.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile processes.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Shell, Python, Groovy).
• Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with version control systems (Git), ticketing tools (JIRA, ServiceNow), and monitoring tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in DevOps & Agile methodologies.
• Experience in regulated industries (e.g., Banking Domain) is a plus.
• Familiarity with security and compliance standards in release processes.
