Job Overview :
We are seeking an experienced CFIN Non-SAP Integration Consultant to support the design, development, and implementation of non-SAP system integrations with SAP Central Finance (CFIN). With 7-17 years of experience, the ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of financial integration scenarios, various data replication techniques, and multiple middleware tools. This role requires a strong ability to work collaboratively across diverse systems and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless financial data flow into CFIN.
Job Summary :
The CFIN Non-SAP Integration Consultant will be responsible for architecting, developing, and troubleshooting integrations that connect various non-SAP source systems with the SAP Central Finance landscape. You will ensure accurate and efficient data replication, enabling real-time financial reporting and reconciliation within CFIN.
Required Skills :
- 7-17 years of experience in SAP integration, with strong dedicated experience in SAP Central Finance (CFIN) integration projects.
- Hands-on experience integrating non-SAP source systems into SAP environments using middleware tools such as SAP Process Integration/Orchestration (PI/PO), SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI), MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or custom APIs.
- Extensive experience with various integration technologies and protocols : IDoc, BAPI, RFC, SOAP, REST, and file-based integrations.
- Good understanding of core financial processes like General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Controlling (CO).
- Ability to analyze and debug complex integration issues related to data mapping, transformation rules, and replication processes.
- Knowledge of SLT (SAP Landscape Transformation) for real-time data replication is strongly preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and proven experience working effectively in a client-facing or cross-functional team :
- Lead and participate in the design, development, and implementation of integration solutions for connecting non-SAP source systems to SAP Central Finance (CFIN).
- Analyze source system data structures and business processes to define optimal data mapping and transformation rules for CFIN replication.
- Configure and develop integration flows using chosen middleware platforms (e.g., SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI, MuleSoft).
- Utilize various integration techniques (IDoc, BAPI, RFC, SOAP, REST, file-based) to ensure robust and reliable data transfer.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and functional teams to understand financial integration scenarios and requirements.
- Perform comprehensive unit, integration, and performance testing for all developed integrations.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex integration issues, including data discrepancies, connectivity problems, and performance bottlenecks, providing timely resolutions.
- Work closely with SAP functional consultants, ABAP developers, and basis teams to ensure end-to-end integration functionality.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including integration design specifications, data mapping documents, and testing results.
- Provide support during cutover activities and post-go-live for integration processes.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in SAP CFIN integrations and middleware technologies.
