We are looking for one Civil Engineer who will be based out of Vadodara, and will be part of our field teams in Africa and West Asia.We are looking for a qualified and dedicated Civil Engineer to join our project execution team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing large-scale civil works, with a strong command over planning, execution, quality control, and contractor coordination. Candidates with international project exposure will be given preference.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time role for a Civil Engineer at Tridel Technologies Private Limited in Vadodara. The location of the project will be West Asia and East Africa.ResponsibilitiesPlan, coordinate, and supervise all civil work related activities for assigned projects.Review and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints related to civil works.Coordinate with architects, other civil engineers, MEP Engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate designs with structural elements.Manage subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers for the timely and quality execution of works.Ensure that the systems comply with international standards and project-specific specifications.Monitor site execution, inspect installations, and troubleshoot technical issues.Prepare and maintain documentation for design approvals, testing, commissioning, and handover.Provide technical inputs during the tendering and project estimation phases.Enforce safety and quality control standards at project sites.Prepare cost estimates and budgets for projects based on drawings, specifications, and other project documents.Source and solicit competitive bids from subcontractors and suppliers for the required materials, equipment, and services for the projects.Evaluate and analyze bids, proposals, and quotations to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.Monitor material consumption, workmanship, and progress against schedules.Conduct regular site inspections and prepare daily/weekly progress reports.Ensure adherence to QA/QC standards and HSE guidelines across all phases of civil work.Assist in cost estimation, billing verification, and project documentation.Prepare and maintain accurate cost reports, including budgets, forecasts, and expenditure tracking, to monitor project costs and variances.Review and approve subcontractor invoices, change orders, and other project-related expenses for payment.Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options to optimize project profitability while maintaining quality standards.Provide financial analysis and cost advice to support decision-making throughout the projects.Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and contractual requirements related to cost management and procurement activities.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.Minimum 3 years of relevant Civil Engineering experience in large-scale construction projects.International project exposure is highly preferred, especially in Africa and Asia.Sound knowledge of construction materials, project management tools, and QA/QC procedures.Familiarity with civil engineering software like AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, MS Project, or Primavera.Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Flexibility to work in remote project locations and travel as needed.Experience in the construction industry is a plus.Excellent project management, communication, and coordination skills.Willingness to travel and work on project sites as required.Analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and financial information accurately.Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a multidisciplinary team.What We OfferSalary - Highly competitive as per industry standards.International Exposure
