SummaryThe Specialist IT Infrastructure will install, maintain, upgrade, and continuously improve the site's networkoperating environment, ensuring the ongoing reliability, performance and security of the infrastructure. Thisincludes monitoring and up keeping the network operating environments; responding to incidents & problems,planning for growth, deployment of new technologies as well as design, install, configure, maintain andperform testing of Network Operating systems (IOS, Firmware, and Software), networks, and related utilitiesand hardware. The successful candidate will manage and maintain network devices on the customer premisesand will be expected to work to several key performance indicators: SLA targets, capacity management andcustomer visits/communications.Detailed DescriptionProvide technical support and perform maintenanceInstall, maintain and configure network hardware and equipment, routers, switches, wireless access point(ARUBA Access points), and SDWAN devices(Aruba Silverpeak or Viptela or any other SDWAN).Manage, monitor, and support various network devices (Cisco, Open source Network device, Aruba SDWAN,Wireless, firewalls and NAC)Documenting processes and monitoring network performance metrics.Explore new solutions, enhancements and opportunities for continuous improvement, projects and morePerform the acquisition, provisioning and decommissioning of related equipment, software and servicesFormally document change requests and manage the changesManage external service providersFoster and develop a trusting relationship with the customer as well as internal resources, and be thecustomer advocateKnowledge/Skills/CompetenciesStrong customer service orientationStrong analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills.Ability to communicate confidently and directly with executive stakeholders as well as end-client technicalteams.Good leadership and teamwork skills.Negotiation and conflict resolution skills.Good ability to plan projects and tasks.Good understanding of IT requirements for an end to end solution, including security, business continuity,disaster recovery, risk analysis and prepare business caseJob Description:Strong knowledge of networking concepts (OSI Layers, TCP/IP, VLAN, VxLAN, VPN, IPSec, GRE, LAN, WAN,802.1x, VTP, Spanning-Tree, IP routing, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, QoS, Trunking, and SDWAN)Advanced knowledge of infrastructure service management & diagnostic tools and processesHands-on-experience on Monitoring tools such as Solarwinds, Netscout, Dorada CruzUnderstanding of IT Infrastructure asset lifecycle managementExtensive experience in the design of local area and wide area networks.
