Key Purpose of the Job:
To carry out the responsibilities of maintaining electrical systems by providing electrical power and equipment
Educational Qualification / Experience required:
Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience in a chemical or petrochemical process industry with HT service, with knowledge of TNEB / Indian Electricity rules/Act. "C" License holder
Key Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for maintaining the Electrical Installations/Emergency Diesel Generators such that these systems ensure continuous availability of power supply for plant operation.
2. Ensuring Electrical Safety throughout the plant - for men and material
3. Monitor and control the power from TANGEDCO within the Quota limit and maintain the PF at an optimum level
4.High tension rectifier experience is required
5. Monitor, Control, and Manage the distribution of power during power failure and Emergency situations
6. Responsible for accessing, troubleshooting and handling the equipment during emergency and breakdown maintenance
7. Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements of TNEB / CEIG
