With a commitment to long-term success, they empower clients and society to move confidently into the digital futureMode of work : Full timeMandate Skills : Optical SW engineersExperience : 9 to 14 YearsLocation : Bangalore/ChennaiNP : 0 to 30 DaysKey Responsibilities :· Participate and contribute in architecture discussions and software Design discussions.· Experience in implementation of products/features ground-up.· Experience with embedded real time operating systems (esp Linux) with a strong understanding of multi core and multi threaded application.· Experience with containers, Kubernetes/dockers is a plus.· Experience in modern approaches to software development in embedded systems· Experience in OTN/ROADM/Ethernet services - specifically transponders and line systems.· Experience in application software development using one or more of the following: Confd/OpenYuma, YANG model, CLI/NETCONF/RESCONF/gNMI, DDS, distributed messaging frameworks, TCP/IP, etc.· Experience and Knowledge of open interfaces OpenROADM/openConfig/TIP etc is a plus.· Experience in C, C++, python and shell scripting.· Experience with the Atlassian suite of SW development tools or equivalent.· Experience with open source tools/environment like Git/Stash, Jenkins, valgrind, gtest/gmock, pytest, Sonarcube, Fisheye/Crucible.· Experience in unit test, continuous integration (CI/CD) frameworks.· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.· Minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience.· Experience of having gone through full cycle of Software development multiple times across product lines and supporting multiple concurrent releases and HW targets.Oracle, AWS or database‑related certifications are a plus.Important Note (Please Read Before Applying)🚫 Do NOT apply if :You have less than 9 years or more than 14 years of experienceYou do not have hands-on Optical SW engineers 8+ yrs experienceYou are on a notice period longer than 30 daysYou are looking for remote only (role is Bangalore/Chennai)✅ Apply ONLY if you meet ALL criteria above.
