The ideal candidate will have deep market insights, strong connections in the solar industry, and a proven track record of B2B sales, channel development, and strategic partnerships in these regions.Key Responsibilities:- Market Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities in Africa & the Middle East for solar panel sales.- Client Acquisition: Build and maintain strong relationships with EPC contractors, solar developers, government bodies, distributors, and commercial/industrial customers.- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market expansion.- Channel Partnerships: Establish and manage partnerships with local distributors, dealers, and resellers to drive market penetration.- Tender & Bidding: Identify and participate in solar project tenders, RFQs, and strategic bidding opportunities.- Market Research & Competitor Analysis: Stay updated on market trends, regulations, pricing strategies, and competitor activities to refine sales approaches.- Product Promotion: Work closely with the marketing team to promote products through trade shows, exhibitions, and digital campaigns.- Logistics & Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment, timely deliveries, and after-sales support.Key Qualifications & Experience:- 12-18 years of experience in solar panel sales, renewable energy, or B2B sales in Africa & the Middle East.- Strong network with EPC firms, utilities, government agencies, and commercial/industrial buyers in the region.- Deep understanding of solar policies, regulations, and market dynamics in targeted countries.- Experience in channel sales, distributor management, and tendering processes.- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.- Ability to travel extensively across Africa & the Middle East.- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.Preferred Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.- MBA is a plus.- Experience in French-speaking African markets is an advantage.- Knowledge of solar financing models, PPA structures, and government incentive programs.Why Join Us?- Opportunity to lead market expansion in high-growth regions.- Competitive salary with performance-based incentives.- Work with a dynamic team in a fast-growing renewable energy sector.
