Job Opening: Marketing Executive

Location: Chennai

Schedule: 10 Am – 7 pm

Role Overview

As a Marketing Executive at Blue5green, you will play a critical role in supporting our marketing efforts to expand our reach to new customers and deepen our engagement with existing customer contacts within our business units: This role offers hands-on experience in executing targeted digital marketing campaigns, content creation, social media management, customer database management, and data-driven marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Creation: Developing pitch decks for the commercial team encapsulating the campaign idea and marketing thought starters for the key tentpole campaigns. Assist in creating compelling content for blogs, social media, newsletters, and websites, aimed at attracting and engaging new customers and existing contacts within our target accounts.
  • Targeted Campaigns: Support the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns designed to reach new customers and engage current contacts, including email marketing, social media advertising, and targeted online ads.
  • Social Media Management: Help manage and grow Blue5green's presence on social media platforms, focusing on attracting new followers and engaging existing ones.
  • Email Marketing: Assist in creating and managing email marketing campaigns targeted at both prospective customers and existing contacts within our accounts, tracking metrics such as open rates and click-through rates.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Use analytics tools to monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns in reaching new customer segments and engaging current customer contacts.
  • Market Research: Research industry trends, competitor activities, and customer behaviour to inform and refine marketing strategies to expand our customer base.
  • Customer Database Creation and Management: Help in the creation and maintenance of a comprehensive customer database. Ensure that customer information is up-to-date, segmented appropriately, and leveraged effectively in marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborative Projects: Work closely with sales and business development teams to support initiatives that drive customer acquisition and engagement.

Qualifications & Must-Haves

  • Educational Background:

MBA in Marketing coupled with an Engineering background.

Experience:

Open to freshers with up to 1 year of experience in digital marketing.

Skills:

  • Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts (content marketing, social media, SEO/SEM, email marketing).
  • Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, including the ability to create visually compelling slides using shapes and infographics.
  • Capability to design high-quality PowerPoint slides following specific templates and instructions.
  • Creative visualization skills to propose diverse visual options.
  • Experience or ability to develop new templates in PPT, Word, or InDesign.
