About the Role

Loomiz is looking for a passionate and proactive PD Merchandiser Intern to support product development processes for global fashion brands. This role is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in managing apparel design, sampling, and client coordination within a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing the product development lifecycle—from concept to final sample delivery—ensuring client requirements are met.
  • Support the team in costing and pricing, maintaining competitiveness without compromising quality.
  • Collaborate with design and production teams to develop market-relevant, innovative products.
  • Coordinate with clients and internal teams to ensure timely updates, approvals, and delivery of samples.
  • Monitor sampling timelines and provide regular reports to ensure adherence to deadlines.


Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Education: Graduate or final-year student in Fashion Merchandising, Apparel Production, or Fashion Technology (NIFT, Pearl Academy, or equivalent).
  • Knowledge: Basic understanding of apparel product development, sampling, and costing processes.
  • Skills: Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Tech Proficiency: Familiarity with tools for tracking timelines, Excel, and industry software is a plus.
  • Attitude: Proactive mindset, eagerness to learn, and a team-oriented approach.
