Softcell is seeking a Senior PLM Service Consultant to concentrate on prospecting, scoping, implementing and supporting the delivery of top-notch services for the PTC Windchill Suite of software applications.
The Senior PLM Service Consultant will be part of a team that will handle various projects, from basic installations to comprehensive implementations that focus on enhancing business processes and integrating with ERP/MRP systems. They will provide effective services to the growing customer base, catering to both technical and non-technical users and supporting various technologies.
The Senior PLM Service Consultant role involves designing and implementing Windchill PLM solutions for projects contracted by Softcell with customers in the discrete manufacturing sector.
*RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Collaborate with stakeholders to outline project scopes, schedules, and execution plans for multiple customer projects
- Conduct and document blueprinting and mapping sessions with customers for PLM, Change Management, and Migrations
- Analyse requirements and contribute to designing PTC solutions for complex customer needs
- Develop functional and technical requirements for PLM, Change Management, and Migrations
- Create technical specifications for customisations and system integrations
- Design and carry out implementations for PDM, PLM, Change Management, and Migrations
- Work closely with Project Managers to ensure project scope adherence and initiate change control as necessary
- Offer best practices for user acceptance testing, training, design, documentation, and delivery efforts
- Generate statements of work
- Lead user training and user acceptance testing
- Mentor and collaborate with services team members on design, documentation, and implementations
- Assist project teams and customers with advanced technical inquiries and solutions
- Monitor project task progress and identify risks along with mitigation plans
*REQUIREMENTS**
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related technology field preferred
- Minimum 10-12 years of industry experience as a consultant
- 5+ years of Windchill implementation experience, with the current role focusing on Windchill
- Demonstrated expertise in architecting PLM and Change Management implementations
- Familiarity with CAD PDM and PLM Platforms
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, diverse environment and successfully complete tasks
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
