We are looking for Offshore Electricians for upcoming roles with an immediate need for an experienced Cable Splicer.

  • Inlecs – $107 days | $123 nights
  • Cable Splicers – $115.33 days

About the Role
We are seeking experienced and safety-focused Offshore Electricians to join our client’s team on upcoming oil & gas projects. You’ll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of electrical systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and operational reliability in a challenging offshore environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment.
  • Conduct inspections, testing, and fault-finding on a range of electrical assets.
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to minimise downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, OHS regulations, and offshore safety protocols.
  • Accurately complete work orders, logs, and maintenance reports.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Skills & Experience

  • Australian Electrical Trade Certificate and current Electrical Licence.
  • Previous offshore oil & gas or marine experience essential.
  • Valid BOSIET/FOET with CA-EBS.
  • Valid OGUK/Offshore Medical.
  • Hazardous Area EEHA Certificate (preferred).
  • High Voltage Switching ticket (advantageous).
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent safety awareness and ability to work in a team environment.
