Position Overview:

The Associate Director - Cataloging and Content will lead the cataloging team,

ensuring that our product listings are accurate, engaging, and optimized for

conversion. This role is critical for enhancing the customer experience by developing

and implementing cataloging strategies and frameworks for all product categories.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, an innovative mindset, and

a deep understanding of cataloging best practices and trends.


Key Responsibilities:

● SOP Development:

○ Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for

cataloging and content management on the app.

○ Develop SOPs for product images, content, descriptions, and attributes

to ensure consistency and quality.

○ Ensure all SOPs are up-to-date and align with industry best practices

and company standards.

● Framework Creation:

○ Develop comprehensive frameworks for cataloging across existing and

new product categories.

○ Establish guidelines for product images, ensuring high-quality and

consistent visual presentation.

○ Define standards for product content, descriptions, and attributes to

provide clear and informative listings.

○ Continuously assess and refine these frameworks to meet the evolving

needs of the business and enhance user experience.

● Conversion Optimization:

○ Design and implement experiments to improve the conversion rate

from Product Detail Page (PDP) to Add to Cart (ATC).

○ Analyze data from these experiments to identify successful strategies

and integrate them into regular practice.

● Industry Best Practices:

○ Establish and maintain best-in-class cataloging and search

functionalities to improve customer experience.

○ Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements to

keep our cataloging practices competitive.

● Team Leadership:

○ Lead and mentor a team of cataloging executives, ensuring timely and

accurate cataloging processes.

○ Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.


What We’re Looking For

● Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in cataloging, content management, or a

related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

● Proven track record in developing and implementing cataloging strategies

that drive conversion and enhance user experience.

● Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven

decisions.

● Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple

projects simultaneously.

● Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

● Proficiency in cataloging tools and platforms, as well as familiarity with SEO

best practices.
