Associate Director - Event Sales Overview:
The Associate Director of Events plays a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation of the Events division in alignment with Hyatt Internationals corporate strategies and brand standards. This role requires a dynamic leader who can effectively manage both the catering sales and convention services functions, consistently delivering exceptional experiences for employees, guests, and owners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the Events department to ensure smooth, efficient, and profitable operations.
- Collaborate closely with the catering sales team and convention services to drive revenue growth and maximize event success.
- Uphold Hyatts brand standards and corporate strategies in every aspect of event planning and execution.
- Lead, train, and motivate the team to achieve high performance and maintain excellent service standards.
- Manage operational and administrative functions, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to exceed expectations.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards across all event A university degree or diploma in Hospitality, Tourism Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Associate Director of Catering or Convention Services in a large-scale operation.
- Strong operational, administrative, and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Excellent leadership abilities, with a proven track record in managing teams and delivering results.
- Outstanding communication and organizational skills with a customer-centric approach.
