Job Summary

We are actively looking for Automation Test Engineers with expertise in Python, Playwright, and Pytest who are passionate about Testing cutting-edge systems. You’ll have the opportunity to learn and lead the Automation Testing of several AI-enabled products and solutions within the company that are geared to help accelerate the development of new cures and to reduce the inefficiencies in how healthcare information is managed. 


Key Responsibilities:


Test Automation Development

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python, Playwright, and Pytest.
  • Develop and execute automated API tests using Postman.
  • Create end-to-end testing solutions for web applications and APIs.
  • Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline for continuous testing.

Test Execution & Reporting:

  • Execute Playwright, Pytest, and Postman test scripts, and analyze results.
  • Report defects in the issue tracking system and collaborate closely with the development team to resolve them.
  • Maintain and enhance existing automated test frameworks and scripts.

Test Planning:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and design comprehensive test strategies.
  • Identify test cases suitable for automation with Playwright, Pytest, and Postman, and plan for test coverage.

API Testing:

  • Develop and maintain automated API tests using Postman or equivalent tools.
  • Ensure API endpoints are functioning as expected and meet the defined requirements.
  • Perform load testing on APIs to ensure they can handle expected traffic.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay updated with the latest testing trends, tools, and techniques in Python, Playwright, Pytest, and Postman.
  • Propose and implement improvements in the automation process to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Conduct code reviews for automation scripts written by peers.

Documentation:

  • Document test plans, test cases, and test results in a clear and organized manner.
  • Provide documentation and training for other team members on Python, Playwright, Pytest, and Postman.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on test automation.
  • Strong experience with Python, Playwright, Pytest, and Postman for web application and API testing.
  • Proficiency in writing clean, efficient, and reusable Python code.
  • Experience in developing and automating API tests using Postman or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or similar.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
  • Familiarity with other automation tools such as Selenium or Cypress.
  • Experience with Docker and containerization.
  • Knowledge of BDD frameworks like Pytest, and Cucumber.
