The Financialist is a digital family office that manages the personal finances of individuals and their family members comprehensively. The Financialist is reimagining how individuals manage their finances viz. insurance, investments, taxes, et al.

What is the company solving?

- Today, an individual faces the problem of managing her/his finances optimally. An individual today has two options, either to be highly educated about personal finances and opt for the DIY mode or approach distributors who are there to make a product sale and not advise an individual holistically.

- As much as every piece about personal finance is interrelated, the current solutions are pretty ad-hoc and don't do the job optimally for the individual.

- At The Financialist, we are solving this problem statement for Indians and are a one stop solution to manage their finances holistically in the most unbiased manner.

About the Role - Wealth Advisor

What are we looking for?

The Financialist is seeking an individual who swears by "Stay Hungry Stay Foolish" and comes up with innovative solutions. You'll be part of the founding team and work with other founding team members on building the company.

Job Description:

- The job entails being a part of the advisory team that provides comprehensive financial planning to clients regarding their overall financial well-being needs.

- The advice should be coherent with the principles of financial planning, keeping the client's risk profile, goals, and milestones in mind. Wealth advisors assess a client's financial needs, including retirement, saving for education, home buying, vacation planning, budgeting, debt reduction, or wealth maximisation among other goals.

Role and Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with the advisory team to create personalised financial plans tailored to clients covering investment, retirement, estate, and tax planning, while ensuring coherence with each client's risk profile.

- Conduct thorough analysis of clients' financial situations, covering income, expenses, assets, liabilities, and investment portfolios.

- Take joint responsibility with the Principal Wealth Advisor for managing client relationships, deeply understanding their financial needs, and providing holistic solutions.

- Implement action plans in coherence with the financial plan of the clients to achieve financial objectives.

- Offer continuous support to the clients throughout the year, addressing any questions, concerns, or inquiries they may have.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Academic background:

I. Chartered Accountant or

II. CFP/ CWM or

III. CFA Level 2 cleared/ CFA Level 3 candidates

IV. Bachelors/ Masters in a commerce/management field with relevant work experience

- Ability to operate in a team-oriented and collaborative environment

- Self-motivated, flexible, and adaptable in an ever-changing environment

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Commitment to personal and professional development
