Automation Engineer

Description :Key Responsibilities :- Automation Development- Develop and maintain production-quality automation scripts using Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript.- Design, build, and optimize scalable automation frameworks for UI and API testing.- Ensure code quality through best practices, design patterns, debugging, and maintainability.- API & Backend Testing- Perform API testing using Playwright, Axios, or similar tools.- Conduct backend validation using SQL, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.- CI/CD & Pipeline Integration- Integrate automation pipelines with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI, or similar CI/CD tools.- Maintain test reliability, triage failures, and drive continuous improvements.- Quality Ownership & Agile Collaboration- Own test strategies, test plans, and release documentation.- Lead test strategy discussions and contribute actively in Agile ceremonies.- Mentor junior team members on coding, automation practices, and QA methodologies.- Debugging & Issue Resolution- Identify root causes, debug failures, and improve test stability in dynamic product environments.- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to ensure end-to-end quality.Required Skills & Experience :- 57 years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a strong programming background.- Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, including core concepts, design patterns, data structures, and debugging.- 12 years of hands-on experience with Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript).- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, Agile principles, and the software test lifecycle.- Proven track record of maintaining test stability and driving automation improvements.
