Job Title: Senior Data Scientist – Manufacturing Location: Bangalore (Hybrid Onsite) Interview Mode: Video Interview Duration: 12+ Months Contract to Hire Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist with a strong background in the manufacturing domain to join our analytics team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing and deploying machine learning models that drive process optimization, predictive maintenance, and operational efficiency within manufacturing environments. Experience within the alcoholic beverage industry is a strong plus. Role Expectations: Apply advanced statistical, analytical, and machine learning techniques to solve manufacturing process and production challenges. Collaborate with plant and operations teams to identify data-driven improvement opportunities. Develop predictive models for yield optimization, quality control, and equipment reliability. Work with large datasets using Python, NumPy, and Pandas for data manipulation and model development. Partner with engineering and business stakeholders to translate analytical insights into actionable strategies. Document analytical approaches, model assumptions, and data sources to ensure transparency and repeatability. Required Skills & Experience: 6–10 years of relevant data science experience. Proven experience within manufacturing analytics ; exposure to alcoholic beverage or process industries preferred. Proficiency in Python , NumPy , Pandas , and machine learning techniques . Strong understanding of plant-side analytics , including process data integration and real-time insights. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work cross-functionally in a hybrid environment.
