The role requires strong hands-on expertise intest automation using Playwright and Java , along with the ability to drive automation strategy and ensure high-quality product delivery. You will be actively involved throughout the product development lifecycle — from requirement analysis and estimation to automated test development, CI/CD integration, and continuous quality improvement.Key Responsibilities Analyze business requirements and convert them into effectivetest scenarios and automation strategies Design, develop, and maintainscalable and reusable automation frameworks Implement automated tests usingPlaywright, Java, Gherkin, and Cucumber Drive test automation adoption and best practices across projects Perform code reviews and ensure automation code quality and maintainability Integrate automation suites intoCI/CD pipelines Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other QA engineers Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (planning, estimation, retrospectives) Ensure accurate documentation of test cases, automation scripts, and test results Mandatory Skills & Experience 8–12 years of experience insoftware testing with a strong focus on automation Strong hands-on experience withPlaywright Strong proficiency inJava Experience withGherkin & Cucumber (BDD frameworks) Strong understanding ofautomation framework design Excellentcode reading, debugging, and problem-solving skills Experience writingclean, reusable, and maintainable automation code Hands-on experience withGit, Maven, and Jenkins Experience usingJIRA, Confluence, and Splunk Solid understanding ofCI/CD and test automation integrationGood to Have Experience working onEuropean projects(Germany preferred) German language skills Exposure to performance, security, or API automationSoft Skills Passionate about quality engineering Highly adaptable with a positive, can-do attitude Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work independently on complex testing initiativesDeliverables Automated test cases and frameworks High-quality automation code Test documentation and reports
