Job Title: Pipe Fitter

Client: Haka Group

Job Overview:

Haka Group is seeking skilled and experienced Pipe Fitters to join our team for a variety of industrial and construction projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in installing, assembling, fabricating, and maintaining piping systems to ensure the efficient and safe operation of mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and follow blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings to determine pipe layout and installation requirements.
  • Cut, thread, assemble, and install pipes and pipe fittings such as valves, couplings, and flanges using hand tools and power tools.
  • Perform installation, repair, and maintenance of piping systems in industrial, residential, or commercial settings.
  • Conduct pressure tests on piping systems to ensure proper functionality and identify leaks or defects.
  • Measure, mark, and prepare pipes for cutting or welding according to specifications.
  • Collaborate with welders, fabricators, and other team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
  • Adhere to safety standards and protocols to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve piping system issues effectively.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter in industrial, oil & gas, or construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of pipe fitting techniques, materials, and tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and isometric drawings.
  • Proficient in using cutting, threading, and welding equipment.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and regulations in piping installation and maintenance.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Physical stamina and ability to work in challenging environments.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in pipe fitting is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in oil & gas or petrochemical industries.
  • Certifications in welding or pipe fitting.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic or pneumatic systems.
